As part of the full lineup of session speeches, plenaries and entertainment at the annual Out & Equal Workplace Summit, held this year in Dallas at the Hilton Antole Hotel Oct. 5-8, Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, a non-profit dedicated to achieving lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender workplace equality, will host two special luncheons with renowned government leaders and LGBT corporate executives. Speakers will address their work towards the next frontier in LGBT rights—workplace equality. The Government and Executive Luncheons—ticketed events—will both be held Thursday, Oct. 8.

“We are excited to host this incredible panel of speakers that demonstrates the wide range of high profile government officials and corporate executives collaborating to achieve international LGBT workplace equality,” said Out & Equal Founder and CEO Selisse Berry. “We are working to change the world one cubicle and one workplace at a time.”

Carmen Middleton, Deputy Executive Director of the CIA and 30-year government service veteran, Randy Berry, the U.S. State Department’s first Special Envoy for the Human Rights of LGBTI Persons, and Joe Leonard Jr., the longest-serving Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights in the USDA's history will discuss their countless contributions to the fight towards LGBT workplace equality and the challenges of implementing change during the Government Luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 11:45 a.m.

LGBT executives Sander Van’t Noordende of Accenture Products, James Fitterling of DOW Chemical Company and Cindy Armine-Klein of First Data Corporation will provide an in-depth look at their impressive career trajectories while celebrating their intimate and powerful stories about being out and open in the workplace during the Executive Luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 12:15 p.m.
