The third grade students at Sahuaro School will host their families to a night of math fun on Thursday, January 28 at the school located at 12835 North 33rd Avenue in Phoenix. The event is open to the public and is designed to highlight the academic options provided at Sahuaro School and throughout the Washington Elementary School District.

Family math night is planned to coincide with National School Choice Week 2016, the nation’s largest-ever celebration of excellent options in education.

More than 50 students and parents are expected to attend.

The Sahuaro School is part of the Washington Elementary School District, proud to serve a diverse population in north-central Phoenix and east Glendale. The largest elementary school district in Arizona, WESD is an award-winning district comprised of 32 schools (18 K-6 schools, two K-5 schools, seven K-8 schools, and five middle/junior high schools).

National School Choice Week (January 24–30, 2016) will be America’s largest-ever celebration of opportunity in education. Featuring more than 16,000 independently organized events across all 50 states, the Week shines a positive spotlight on effective education options for children.
