The inquiry committee into emission measurements in the car industry (EMIS) will continue its work in the afternoon by hearing Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Chief Technical Officer Harald Wester, accompanied by Daniele Chiari, Head of EMEA Product Planning & Institutional Relations, and Giorgio Fossati, General Counsel.

Afterwards, members will discuss the outcomes of their fact-finding missions to Joint Research Centre in Ispra, Italy, and to car parts manufacturers, type approval authorities and technical services facilities in France, Luxembourg and Germany.

The hearing on Monday concludes the hearings of car manufacturers' representatives and technical experts on emissions. Further hearings will focus on authorities from member states and their role in implementing EU legislation on clean air and car emissions limits.
