"Come costruire un'Europa forte? Strategie per il futuro" è il tema di apertura della sessione plenaria del 25° Forum economico che si terrà dall'8 al 10 settembre prossimi a Krynica-Zdrój, in Polonia.
Gli studiosi e le personalità che prenderanno parte al dibattito si interrogheranno sulle sfide principali che il Vecchio Continente deve affrontare sul fronte interno e, allo stesso tempo, rispetto alle minacce esterne. La discussione sarà incentrata sulle questioni economiche e politiche all'interno della comunità europea, così come questioni di sicurezza connesse alla situazione in Ucraina e in Nord Africa.
Proprio in considerazione della crescente importanza delle questioni di sicurezza connesse alla crisi in Ucraina e tensioni nelle relazioni con la Russia, gli attacchi terroristici e l'attività sempre più intensa e articolata dello Stato Islamico, i lavori della prossima conferenza promuoveranno anche un nuovo evento: un Forum dedicato alla Sicurezza. Tra i diversi blocchi tematici che saranno affrontati all'interno del Security Forum: "Mondo contemporaneo, le sfide attuali. Come rispondere all'aggressione ibrida", "Il rapporto tra i paesi dell'Est e quelli occidentali nel nuovo contesto geopolitico", "Nuove sfide: la sicurezza informatica come condizione necessaria per uno sviluppo stabile", "Sicurezza civile, come contrastare le minacce?", "La cooperazione europea in materia di sicurezza interna".
La partecipazione agli incontri è stata annunciata, tra gli altri, da: Tinatin Hidaszeli, ministro della Difesa della Georgia, Iveta Radicova, Primo Ministro della Slovacchia nel 2010 - 2012; Bartłomiej Bodio, vice-presidente del Comitato per la sicurezza nazionale; Michel Van Leeuwen, responsabile della politica di sicurezza informatica presso il Ministero della Sicurezza e della Giustizia dei Paesi Bassi; Leonid Kożara, Vicepresidente degli Affari Esteri nel Consiglio Supremo di Ucraina; Péter Siklósi, Sottosegretario di Stato per la politica di difesa e la pianificazione dell'Ungheria; Karel Schwarzenberg, ministro degli Affari esteri della Repubblica Ceca nel periodo 2007-2009 e 2010 -2013.
Il Forum Economico comprenderà più di 170 eventi - dibattiti, blocchi di programma, sessioni plenarie, presentazioni di rapporti in 12 tracce di attualità. Politici, economisti, rappresentanti delle più grandi aziende ed esperti europei hanno già annunciato la loro presenza durante il Forum.
Per l'Italia, tra i partner dell'iniziativa anche l'Eurispes che parteciperà inoltre ai lavori del Forum con il Segretario, Marco Ricceri, che porterà un contributo di conoscenza nell'ambito dei dibattiti dedicati a temi specifici seguiti e sviluppati in questi anni dall'Istituto.

The anniversary, 25th Economic Forum in Krynica-Zdrój is scheduled to be held between the 8th and the 10th of September this year. "How to build strong Europe? Strategies for the future" is the title of the plenary session opening this year's Forum. Participants in the debates will be looking for answers to the main challenges that the Old Continent has to address in the face of internal and external threats. The discussion will centre on economic and political issues inside the community, as well as security issues connected with the situation in Ukraine and North Africa.
Due to increased importance of security issues connected with the crisis in Ukraine and tensions in relations with Russia, terrorist attacks and heightened activity of the Islamic State, the agenda of upcoming conference will include also a new event - Security Forum. The thematic blocks: "Contemporary world, present-day challenges. How to respond to hybrid aggression?"" Fallen states - how to stop the wave of destabilization?" and debates "Relations of the East with the West in the new geopolitical context"; "Response to new challenges: cybersecurity as a necessary condition for stable development"; "Civil security studies - how to counteract threats?"; "European cooperation in the area of internal security" are only selected topics of the three-day Security Forum. The Economic Forum will include more than 170 events - debates, program blocks, plenary sessions, presentations of reports in 12 topical tracks. The most important politicians, economists, representatives of the biggest European companies and experts have already announced their presence during the Forum.
Among the partners of the initiative also Eurispes who will also participate in the Forum with the Secretary , Marco Ricceri , which will bring a contribution to knowledge in debates on specific topics followed and developed in recent years by the Institute .
