Ruslana, leading figure of Euromaidan in Ukraine and winner of the 2004 Eurovision song contest, will discuss Ukrainian civil society's expectations from the European Union, during a debate at the plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee on Tuesday 21 January 2014. This will be followed by a debate with José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, on the Commission's 2014 work programme.
