November 2019 compared to October 2019

The quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units in November 2019 decreased by 5906 tonnes (-6.8%) compared to the previous month.

Decreases in production were recorded for acidified milk (yogurt, drinking yogurt, curd and other similar milk products), with 3935 less tonnes produced (-18.8%), cream, for which a 456 tonne drop (-7.7%) was reported, drinking milk, with 1884 less tonnes produced (-6.1%), butter, for which a 57 tonne drop (-5.7%) was reported, and cheese products, with 306 less tonnes produced (-4.0%).

The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units dropped 786 tonnes (-6.6%) in November 2019 compared to the previous month.

November 2019 compared to November 2018

The quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units in November 2019 was down 1019 tonnes (-1.2%) from the same month of the previous year.

Decreases in production were recorded for acidified milk (yogurt, drinking yogurt, curd and other similar milk products), for which a 2503 tonne drop (-12.8%) was reported, butter, with 108 less tonnes produced (-10.3%), and cream, for which a 267 tonne drop (-4.7%) was reported.

Increases in production were recorded for the following milk products: drinking milk, with 2811 more tonnes produced (+10.8%), and cheese products, for which a 444 tonne rise (+6.5%) was reported.

The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units was up 1045 tonnes (+10.3%) in November 2019 from the same month of the previous year.

The quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units in the 1.I-30.XI.2019 period rose by 12509 tonnes (+1.2%) compared to the 1.I-30.XI.2018 period.

Increases in production were recorded for drinking milk, for which a 20631 tonne rise (+7.4%) was reported, acidified milk (yogurt, drinking yogurt, curd and other similar milk products), with 9271 more tonnes produced (+4.6%), cheese products, for which a 2131 tonne rise (+2.4%) was reported, and cream, with 897 more tonnes produced (+1.5%).

The production of butter decreased by 219 tonnes (-2.2%).

The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units was down 17380 tonnes (-15.2%) in the 1.I-30.XI.2019 period from the 1.I-30.XI.2018 period.
