Railroad Quiet Zone
At the next Traffic and Transportation Commission meeting, the Railroad Quiet Zone subcommittee will provide a recommendation concerning the possible implementation of a Quiet Zone along the Claremont rail corridor. The Traffic and Transportation Commission meeting will be held on Thursday, January 26, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 225 Second Street. All interested persons are invited to attend and speak on this item. The staff report for the Traffic and Transportation Commission item will be available on the City's website by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 19. The City Council will review the Quiet Zone recommendation at an upcoming meeting in late February or early March.
