BEIJING, Jan 17 (Reuters) - China's primary aluminium production climbed 3.7% to 41.59 million metric tons in 2023, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Wednesday.

For December, China produced 3.59 million tons, up 4.9% from a year earlier, the data showed.

Production of 10 nonferrous metals - including copper, aluminium, lead, zinc and nickel - rose 7.1% to 74.7 million tons in 2023. Output in December increased 7.3% from a year earlier to 6.59 million tons.

The other non-ferrous metals are tin, antimony, mercury, magnesium and titanium.
