The Salvation Army of Canandaigua partnered with Canandaigua National Bank & Trust (CNB) for its annual Red Kettle Christmas fund raising campaign and bell ringing, and the 2017 goal was $110,000. The goal was not only lofty, but they had one less day in the typical operation time due to Christmas Eve being a Sunday.

The total amount raised for the Salvation Army of Canandaigua as of December 29th, was $110,305.52!

'Considering, we were one day short of our normal operation time, we did wonderful in reaching our goal,' said Major Les Bussey, (temporary) pastor and administrator for the Canandaigua Salvation Army Worship and Community Center.

CNB's Main Office Community Manager, Deborah Rought, served as honorary chair for the 2017 Red Kettle Campaign. CNB had kettles and volunteer bell ringers every Friday beginning after Thanksgiving leading up until Christmas at five (5) of their Ontario County locations.

Thank you to all who contributed to this effort to support The Salvation Army of Canandaigua.

Happy New Year!
