Hope Schiele, counselor with CHI St. Alexius Health explains how you can treat your winter blues.

Winter blues usually start in October and last until springtime. It is more common in areas that are colder because people tend to go inside more, receiving less sunlight. For some, this can be a serious issue. People tend to get stressed and overwhelmed during winter months. They may eat more and feel tired more often. It is important to be aware of these issues and talk to a healthcare professional if you feel you are getting worse so it does not develop into something more significant.
