This announcement is made by the Company in response to certain content contained in media reports.

The board of directors (the "Board") of CAA Resources Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") has become aware of certain content contained in media reports (the "Reports") in relation to the Company and Mr. Li Yang ("Mr. Li"), the chairman and chief executive officer of the Company. The Company and the Board hereby respond to the same as follows:

Certain reports about the Company's operation in Terengganu State, Malaysia

The Reports suggested that the Company has commenced operation on ore mine in
Terengganu State, Malaysia, and that the mining operation is unlawful.
Reference is made to the announcement of the Company dated 3 October 2013 (the "Announcement"). All the capitalized terms in this paragraph shall have the same meaning as those defined in the Announcement. It is hereby clarified that, as stated in the Announcement, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company has entered into the Memorandum of Understanding in relation to the Proposed Acquisition. As of the date of this announcement, the Company considers that the conditions for the Proposed Acquisition have not been satisfied and has not entered into any Definitive Agreement, and therefore has not commenced any mining operation in Terengganu State, Malaysia.

Certain reports about Mr. Li

The Reports suggested that Mr. Li had made remarks to the effect that he had paid for local politicians to receive the royally granted title of "dato", and that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (the "MACC") is in the course of investigating Mr. Li in this regard.
It is hereby declared and confirmed by the Board and Mr. Li that Mr. Li has not made the said remarks to any media and has never paid for any local politicians to receive the royally granted title of "dato"; and as far as Mr. Li is aware, Mr. Li has not been approached by MACC and is not involved in any proceedings by MACC as at the date of this announcement.
The Company and Mr. Li reserve all the rights to take legal action in respect of the inaccurate media reports.
The Company is now in the course of studying all the relevant information related to the Reports and will make further announcement if needed.
Shareholders and prospective investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the Company and should make any investment decision only after carefully reviewing and evaluating all of the information contained in the announcements published by the Company.
