UCD Wins Title of'Excellent Overall Design Company of 2017'

On Jan. 26, 2018, Shenzhen Metro Group Co., Ltd. convened the 'Metro Construction Commendation Conference 2017', at which UCD won the title of 'Annual Excellent Overall Design Company' for its EPC survey and design of rail transit line 16 for Shenzhen. Yang Bin, Zou Yaping, Sun Xiao, Wang Lijun, Wang Tao and Gong Xuanbo, who are staff members of UCD, were chosen through public appraisal to be the annual excellent designers. In the meantime, the advertising video Biuld a City with an Aspiration Firmly in Mind shot by UCD won second prize of 'Shenzhen Metro Craftsman·Originality Cup Micro-Video Contest'，and A True Record of Surveying for Shenzhen Subway Line 16 -- Opening the Spring for East Shenzhen, a WeChat works presented by the survey institute, won third prize of 'WeChat Creative Work Contest·Shenzhen Metro Construction Cup', with praise given to both. Board Chairperson Xin Jie, General Manager Xiao Min and Deputy General Manager of Huang Liping of Shenzhen Metro Group Co., Ltd. attended the conference and issued the prizes.

As an EPC survey and design company for Line 16 of Shenzhen, UCD made its best endeavors and overcame all difficulties to implement the concept of 'Building Subways Is Building Cities' throughout the whole process of design. With this concept, UCD made in-depth explorations and researches into the fully automatic operation technology, and the civil engineering programs worked out by UCD on complicated and bad geologies in different regions were recognized by Shenzhen Metro Group Co., Ltd. and the Rail Transit Office, etc. Moreover, the preliminary design completed at the end of November 2017 won wide acclaim in the rail transit industry. Winning the title of 'Excellent Overall Design Company of 2017' is the result of all construction workers conscientiously serving customers and constantly pursuing excellence in the spirit of 'Originality, Responsibility,Innovation and Hard Struggle', which will lay a solid foundation for UCD's subsequent development in the rail transit market of Shenzhen.
