Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council recently held a competition for three residents of the Borough to win £50 worth of oil stamps. The competition, which kicked off in November, was part of the launch of the new look oil stamps. The three lucky winners were recently announced as Patricia McCormack from Randalstown, Lorraine Gamble from Ballyclare and Patricia Logan from Antrim.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor John Scott commented, 'The oil stamp saving scheme is a fantastic way of budgeting for your oil throughout the year. You can also benefit from getting more for your money through ordering larger quantities. I would encourage residents to make use of the scheme as it makes the cost of oil much more affordable. By buying one £5 stamp per week from today until the end of October, you could have over £200 to put towards your next home heating oil order.'
