DUBLIN, CA and LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Jan 29, 2014) - Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organisations, today announced that Aero Stanrew Ltd, a designer and manufacturer of electromagnetic components and electronic systems to the aerospace, defence, oil & gas and space markets across the globe, has selected the Epicor next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to support its continued growth and unify its enterprise business systems.

Aero Stanrew employs 230 people with sites in the UK and Tunisia, and has experienced phenomenal growth of 60% in the last two years. Its products are used throughout the aerospace and defence industries including all current Airbus and Boeing flight platforms.

Aero Stanrew's current IT systems consist of a finance package, two instances of a manufacturing resource planning (MRP) solution, and a number of spreadsheets and discrete databases. Its aim in seeking out a new system is to consolidate these functions into a complete quote-to-cash business-wide package, bringing the benefits of insight and efficiency that a well implemented ERP solution can offer.

Aero Stanrew reviewed all the major ERP solutions providers before selecting Epicor ERP for its breadth of functionality out-of-the-box, the minimum amount of configuration that it would require, and because it offered users a great deal of personal customisation options for their roles.

Aero Stanrew will be implementing its solution with the support of Dot Net IT, a member of the Epicor Inspired Partner Network. The company has worked with Dot Net IT in the past, and described its teams as having a great deal of in-house development expertise and knowledge of the Epicor ERP solution.
