Intermap won a $20 million contract to map the Island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. The contract was the first phase of the Indonesian Integrated Land Administration and Spatial Planning Project (ILASPP), which is to provide geospatial data and base maps covering all of Indonesia.
Sulawesi, representing 10% of the country's land area, validated Intermap's approach to delivering 1:5,000 scale topographic maps in only nine months of work. ILASPP procurement is underway to complete the remaining 90% of the maps, with work expecting to conclude in
December 2028. Additional contracts valued over $180 million are to be awarded by year end 2025. Learn more here
