Washington Gondoun completed a degree in geology in 1998, an education which had been interrupted by the war.
He worked as a geologist for LIMCO, the Liberian Mining Company in 1991-2 and as a science teacher in the Ivory Coast during the war, returning to continue his studies in 1996.
He joined Mano on graduation in 1998.
