Ms. Svetlana M.
Loshakov, CFA MBA, is a Head of Investments at Clearstead Advisors, LLC.
She is responsible for the overall performance of Clearstead’s Research Team, which oversees asset allocation, conducts investment manager due diligence and market research, produces relevant newsletters and whitepapers, and works closely with our Institutional Consulting and Private Client Groups to create value for clients’ portfolios.
She is also responsible for managing alternative investments, which involves sourcing, evaluating, selecting, and monitoring alternative investments, such as private equity, venture, private credit, real estate, and hedge funds.
In that capacity, she works closely with consultants and clients, assisting them in the design and implementation of an appropriate private investment program.
Prior to joining Clearstead, she spent 19 years working in a single family office managing an institutional size global investment portfolio across all asset classes.
She started her career as petroleum engineer and worked in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, commercial, and mortgage banking.
Her broad international business experience brings depth and expertise to research and diligence of fund managers and underlying portfolio companies.
She received a BS in Petroleum Engineering and Economics summa cum laude from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil & Gas and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
