Each portfolio manager follows their own investment style under the guidance of an investment committee which meets monthly to review investments and make strategic decisions. The firm follows a bottom-up investment approach and utilizes a range of strategies including fixed-income, cash, passive and active equity management, currency overlay, indexation and alternative investment management. BNY-MIM invests a significant part of their assets in high-grade Japanese corporate bonds.
