Scott Atkin is an accomplished executive who has led product development and operations for large corporations and entrepreneurial businesses in the life sciences and diagnostics industries.
During an extensive career with Beckman Coulter, Inc., he oversaw multiple business units and led engineering R&D, which supported all of the company’s business units and product lines.
Following Danaher Corporation’s acquisition of Beckman, Scott was named president of the life sciences' operating company.

Scott began his career as a senior research chemist with The Dow Chemical Company.
He received bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and computer science from Butler University.
