Profile
Prior to co-founding Channelstone Partners in July 2005, Mr. Rush McCloy built his professional career in entrepreneurial management, finance and military service.
He is an officer in the reserves and recently returned from Afghanistan, where he served a year tour and was awarded the Bronze Star.
Immediately before partnering with R.T., he worked in the private equity industry for Allianz Capital Partners in Munich, Germany, joining them in June 2004 to September 2004.
Mr. McCloy started his career in investment banking and then in derivatives origination and structuring for JPMorgan Chase Securities.
He subsequently founded and ran Epache, Inc., a knowledge management software company.
Mr. McCloy founded and sits on the board of Students4Students, serves on the board as finance director for the Ubuntu Education Fund, serves on the Executive Committee of Deerfield Academy, is an active member of the American Council on Germany and runs marathons around the world to raise money for pediatric cancer research.
Mr. McCloy received his MBA from the Wharton Business School in 2005, where he received the Paul Green Award for Knowledge Creation, an MA from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005, where he graduated with honors, and his BA from the University of Virginia in 1996.
