For macro and sector strategies, they utilize a tracking error allocation framework to calibrate the size of the active positions in the portfolio and they select stocks following a bottom-up credit research process. They also use in-house developed systems to implement and manage multiple risk positions across portfolios. The firm believes that global debt market inefficiencies can arise due to investor emotion, market complexity or conflicting investment agendas and they seek to generate alpha from the resultant mispricings in securities and sectors.
