Ricks Bob

Bob concentrates on Schechter’s innovative life insurance distribution strategy with a focus on technical expertise, brand awareness, relationship development, in-depth advanced solutions, product training, and advisor education to gain mind and market share within these critical partnerships.
Bob also works with the service of partnerships that leverage Schechter’s expertise before, during & after policy acquisition, monitoring all strategies for performance.
He is an accomplished sales and distribution executive who has an impressive 30 -year track record of driving successful revenue results across multiple wholesale channels and through several-leading life insurance companies including Securian/Minnesota Life, Penn Mutual, Lincoln Financial Group, Protective Life, and Aetna Life & Annuity.
Bob’s relationship expertise, point of sale experience, technical proficiency, and broad distribution leadership were instrumental in helping transform these companies from industry outliers into major national players.
He has been actively involved in many industry organizations and associations throughout his career including AALU (Association for Advanced Underwriting) and NALU (National Association of Life Underwriters).
He was active and held leadership roles on all major product, advisory, marketing, and distribution committees at each of the five life insurance carriers in which he worked.
He graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and minors in Political Science and Sociology.
He currently resides in Lubbock, Texas with his wife Shawndi of 30 years.
He enjoys spending time with their 3 boys hunting and fishing.
