Ravi Ramanan
Profile
Before joining Blackstone in 2007, Mr. Ramanan was Senior Vice-President at Solectron Corporation, where he led the creation and deployment of Solectron Production System (SPSTM).
Prior to that, he served for over 12 years in a number of staff and management positions at General Electric (GE), leading operations and lean and six sigma initiatives in GE Medical Systems and GE Plastics.
He is a certified Black Belt and Master Black Belt in Six Sigma.
Mr. Ramanan received a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering & Masters in Business Administration from M.S.
University of Baroda, India.
He is a Charter Member of TiE, Silicon Valley Chapter and has served on the Boards of various GE legal entities in India.
