Peter Mason

Since 2020, Peter Mason has served as Chairman of The University of Sydney USA Foundation.
Beginning in 2024, Mr. Mason has held multiple director roles at various funds including Western Asset High Income Opportunity Fund, Western Asset Emerging Markets Debt Fund, LMP Capital & Income Fund, Western Asset Global High Income Fund, Western Asset Mortgage Opportunity Fund, Western Asset High Income Fund II, Western Asset High Yield Defined Opportunity Fund, Western Asset Municipal High Income Fund, Western Asset Managed Municipals Fund, Western Asset Intermediate Muni Fund, BWG BrandywineGLOBAL - Global Income Opportunities Fund, Clarion Partners Real Estate Income Fund, and has been an Independent Director at ClearBridge Energy Midstream Opportunity Fund.
Also starting in 2024, Mr. Mason has been an Independent Trustee at Western Asset Diversified Income Fund.
From 2025, Mr. Mason has been a Trustee at Franklin BSP Lending Fund and an Independent Trustee at Franklin Infrastructure Solutions Fund.
Beginning in 2026, Mr. Mason has been a Trustee at Franklin Lexington Venture & Growth Fund.
