Paul L. Thursby

From December 1991 to November 2002, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager and an Institutional Director at Baring Asset Management.
He sat on the Fixed Income Strategy Committee and was primarily responsible for managing retail funds invested in Global Government Bond markets, in particular the £230m S&P AA rated Global Bond Trust.
During the 1990's, he was responsible for overseeing the International Bond and Currency Investments for North American institutional clients.
Prior to joining Barings, he was a European and International Portfolio Manager & Head of Fixed Income at Cigna International Investment Advisers, based in London, following a stint in Tokyo where he was the Manager of the Fixed Income Division of Prudential Bache Securities.
From 1979 to 1988, he he held various positions including Head of Fixed Income and Deputy General Manager at the United Bank of Kuwait in London.
