Ned C. Hill

Dr. Ned C.
Hill is an Advisory Board Member at Soltis Investment Advisors, Inc. Since 1998, Dr. Hill has been the dean of the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
From 1996 to 1998, he served as Assistant to President Merrill J.
Bateman where he was responsible for strategic planning in the areas of international relations, facilities and space management, distance learning, information systems and assessment.
Before joining the administration, he chaired the Department of Business Management in the Marriott School of Management.
He came to the Marriott School faculty in 1987 as the Joel C.
Peterson Professor of Business Administration.
He has consulted for several Fortune 500 companies and is a board member of Beneficial Financial Group, Morgan Stanley Bank, Soltis Investment Advisors, Aspen Grove Ventures, the Utah Foundation and the Pete Suazo Business Center.
He previously served on the board of Alcatel USA. Dr. Hill received a Ph.D.
in Finance from Cornell, an M.S.
in Chemistry from Cornell and a B.S.
in Chemistry from the University of Utah.
He received the 1992 Outstanding Faculty Award from the Marriott School of Management and has many times been voted Outstanding Teacher by MBA students at BYU and Indiana University.
From 1977 to 1987, he was a finance professor on the faculty of Indiana University.
He was also an assistant professor at Cornell University from 1976 to 1977.
