Mohammed Said Mohammed Shahin is the founder of Jordan Deposit Insurance Corp.
He currently serves as the Chairman of Islamic International Arab Bank Plc and is a Member of the Executive Privatization Commission.
Previously, he served as the Chairman of Jordan Loan Guarantee Corp., Director of Capital Bank of Jordan, and Head-Investment Department of Arab Monetary Fund.
He was also the Governor of Central Bank of Jordan from 2003 to 2012.
Mr. Shahin received his graduate degree from Harvard University in 1978 and his undergraduate degree from The American University in Cairo.
