He previously worked at Polar Capital where he was part of the Paragon hedge fund team.
Mr. Joyce started at Polar on the operations desk in September 2002, moving onto the joint UK/Paragon investment team as an Analyst in September 2005.
He subsequently followed Julian Barnett onto his own Paragon Team in July 2007.
While at Polar, he developed a number of portfolio and risk management tools which are being further developed at Occam.
His prior focus was working with both equities and derivatives.
Mr. Joyce holds an Master of Science degree in Applicable Mathematics from the London School of Economics and a 1st class honours degree in Financial Economics from Birkbeck College, University of London.
