Louis Meyer has twenty years experience as a financial analyst in both the commercial finance and equities industries.
Louis initiated the Special Situations product at Wall Street Access in 2005 that focuses on recapitalizations, shareholder maximizations, restructurings, stub valuations and other event-driven situations.
Louis initiates and maintains stock coverage, responds to customer questions and markets the product to potential accounts.
Prior to joining the Company, Louis was a senior analyst at Oscar Gruss & Son, Inc., following risk arbitrage and special situations from the sellside.
In addition, Louis worked for almost eight years at Furman Selz / ING Asset Management as a buyside analyst in their risk arbitrage group.
Prior to that, Louis spent three years as a credit underwriter at Whirlpool Financial following four years at Heller Financial where he had roles of increasing responsibilities in the operations, auditing and underwriting departments.
Louis is a graduate of Cornell University (B.A.).
