Kristen Manning

As human resources partner, Kristen Manning oversees Battery’s best-in-class people strategy, ensuring Battery recruits, develops and retains the industry’s best employees across the organization.
She also leads initiatives to further refine Battery’s longstanding, collaborative and research-driven internal culture, including promoting diversity, equity and inclusion at the firm.
Kristen is a veteran HR leader, who previously served as the chief people officer at Fiduciary Trust Co. and head of human resources at Arrowstreet Capital.
Prior to that, she was a lead human resources business partner at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co (GMO).
Throughout her career, she has served as a trusted business partner and advisor on key organizational decisions ranging from organizational design, recruitment and talent management to learning and development, employee relations and more.
Kristen holds a BA in business economics from Providence College and a MS in human resources from Suffolk University.
She is actively involved in several HR networking organizations including the Northeastern Human Resources Association and Society for Human Resource Management.
