Julian Jessop

Mr. Julian Jessop is Chief Global Economist at Capital Economics Ltd. He is also a Director of the company.
He joined the company in 2004 from Standard Chartered Bank, where he was Senior International Economist responsible for analyzing the G7 economies and the emerging markets of Asia.
He has also held senior economist positions at HSBC and the Japanese bank Nikko, and worked as an Economic Adviser at the HM Treasury.
Mr. Jessop has two degrees in Economics from Cambridge University.
