Jorge Candia Diaz is a Director and a Representative of the National Association for Copper Supervisors of Corporacion Nacional del Cobre de Chile.
From 1986 to 1988, Mr. Diaz was an Engineer of the Ministry of Public Works for the I Administrative Region.
He was a Consulting Engineer of Len y Asociados from 1988 to 1989 and Ayala y Cabrera from 1989 to 1991.
Mr. Diaz was a Supervisor of the CAD Department for Massand Engineering in New York.
He was Director of Studies and Chief of Projects for the Strategic Planning of Resources of Codelco.
From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Diaz was Regional Secretary of Mining, a Member of the Regional Environmental Commission, Chairman of the Regional Committee of Mining Safety and Manager of the Regional Development Strategy.
He was in charge of the Consolidation of the Mining Cluster for the II Administrative Region.
Mr. Diaz was Director of Culture and Communications and Secretary of the NSCO II Region from 2003 to 2005.
He received an undergraduate degree in Hydraulic Engineering from the University of Chile in 2001 and an MA in Business Management from University of Chile in 2004.
