Jonathan Edwards

Mr. Edwards is a principal analyst in Gartner Research, where he specializes in IT and business issues affecting healthcare providers in Europe.
In particular, he is closely following the initiatives in European national health systems to develop and implement electronic patient record systems, electronic booking and nationwide healthcare IT networks.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Edwards worked as an account manager at EMI Strategic Marketing, conducting and managing market research projects in healthcare and IT.
Previously, he worked as a researcher, writer and translator in the IT industry and in academia.
Mr. Edwards earned a bachelor’s degree with highest honors from Oxford University, England, a master’s degree in international studies from Harvard University and a Certificate from the Institute of Political Studies in Paris, France.
He speaks fluent French and also has some knowledge of Russian, German and Arabic.
