John White

Mr. John R.
White is a Senior Managing Director of Public Real Estate Securities & Asia-Pacific at Heitman International HK Ltd.
He is the Lead Portfolio Manager in Heitman's Asia-Pacific Public Real Estate Securities group.
Mr. White also serves on the group's Global Investment Committee and co-manages the group's global real estate securities strategies.
Mr. White is an equity owner of the firm and a member of the firm's Management Committee.
He has over 25 years of real estate experience across Asia in public equity, private equity and debt markets.
Prior to joining Heitman in 2010, Mr. White was Co-Head of Real Estate Securities at Challenger (Heitman's Asian JV partner for real estate securities) and Portfolio Manager at HSBC Asset Management.
Before moving to investment management in 2001, Mr. White worked across the region in real estate equity research and banking roles and began his career as a real estate valuer.
Mr. White is a graduate of INSEAD'S Advanced Management Program, holds a BBus in Land Economy from Western Sydney University and Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
