John Magnus Bowler

Dr. John M.
Bowler is a Fund Manager at Schroder Investment Management Ltd.
He is currently Global Sector Specialist with responsibility for the health care sector, as well as having primary research responsibility for Pan-European pharmaceuticals.
He joined the firm in 2003 and his investment career commenced in 1994.
He joined Schroders from AXA Investment Managers, where he had worked since 1998 in a global health care research role.
Before this, he worked at State Street Research & Management from 1997 as a Fund Manager/Analyst.
He joined Hill Samuel Asset Management in 1994, later becoming a Junior Fund Manager for UK equities.
Dr. Bowler received his doctorate degree in Biochemistry & Physiology and degree in Biology from The University of Manchester.
He is also Institute of Investment Management and Research qualified, and a Member of the CFA Society of the UK.
