John L. Tonkinson

John L.
Tonkinson is Vice President of Business Development for HistoRx, Inc. Most recently, he was Director of Business Development for Epitome Biosystems, Inc. Before Epitome BioSystems, Dr. Tonkinson held a series of ascendant sales and marketing management positions at Schleicher & Schuell BioScience, Inc. He has more than 10 years of biotechnology research and business development experience that includes advancing the development of product, establishing start-up companies, developing growth strategies, managing sales forces, establishing business models, and negotiating and managing research and business partnerships with multinational companies.
Dr. Tonkinson received a PhD, MPhil, and a MA degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from Columbia University and a BS degree in Biochemistry from Philadelphia University.
