Joel Lighty

Mr. Joel Lighty, CPA, is Vice President-Finance & Controller at Strategic Capital Partners LLC.
Prior to joining SCP in June 2005, Mr. Lighty spent seven years in various positions at 40/86 Advisors, Inc. (formerly known as Conseco Capital Management).
There he was responsible for preparing annual operating budgets, annual and semi-annual fund reporting, internal audits, general ledger accounting, fund sales forecasts and projections, expenses and profitability reporting.
Prior to 40/86, hewas a staff accountant at McGladrey & Pullen, where he performed various audits and accounting functions for S-corporations, C-Corporations and partnerships in a variety of industries.
Mr. Lightyl is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree with emphasis in accounting and management and administration from Indiana University.
He is also a member of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and the Indiana CPA Society.
