Jay B. Barney

Dr. Jay B. Barney is the Bank One Chairman in Corporate Strategy at Fisher College of Business.
He is a Member of Advisory Board at NCT Ventures, LLC.
He has been a Director of Max & Ermas Restaurants Inc. since June 2006.
He has a wide range of experience to Max & Ermas Restaurants Inc. through an extensive consulting practice.
Dr. Barney has been a Professor of Management and the Chase Chair for Excellence in Corporate Strategy at The Ohio State University, where he has taught since 1994.
He taught organizational strategy and policy, focusing on the relationship between firm skills and capabilities and sustainable competitive advantage, to M.B.A. and Ph.D.
students.
Prior to this, he taught at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and Texas A&M University.
Dr. Barney received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University, and his Master's and Doctorate from Yale University.
