Prior to joining Independence Investments in 1997, Mr. Tovey worked for Pacific Capital Fixed Income Advisors and State Street Global Advisors.
He has been in the investment field since 1993.
Mr. Tovey has a BS from Northeastern University, an MS from the University of Michigan, and an MPPM from the Yale School of Management.
He is a member of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives and the Fixed Income Management Society of Boston.
