James D. Eason

Mr. Eason, who has experience in acquisition structuring and financial and accounting due diligence, played a pivotal role in assisting North Castle founder Charles F.
Baird, Jr. with the formation of NCP I.
Since joining the North Castle team as a Managing Director at the beginning of NCP II in 1998, Mr. Eason has reviewed potential investment opportunities with a specific emphasis on accounting and finance issues, including historical and prospective financial profitability, quality of earnings and working capital utilization.
He has also partnered with portfolio company management teams to review add-on acquisitions.
Mr. Eason has been particularly focused on the execution of North Castle's investments in Red Door Spas, Naked Juice, Octane Fitness and EAS.
He currently serves on the board of directors of Red Door Spas and Octane Fitness.
Prior to joining North Castle, Mr. Eason was a Partner at Ernst & Young, LLP, where he had vast exposure to a wide range of mergers and acquisitions.
While at Ernst & Young, Mr. Eason worked with Mr. Baird on virtually all of his transactions at AEA Investors.
Mr. Eason earned a B.S.
from Lehigh University and is a certified public accountant.
