Ilse Fieldgate

Ms. Ilse Fieldgate is Senior Economist at Econometrix.
She joined Econometrix in 2002 and manages the economist team that focuses on macro-economic, retail and consumer market, sectoral analysis and consulting projects.
She started her professional career at the South African Reserve Bank in the Econometric Analysis division, where she was involved with the annual forecasting model of the bank.
After four years at the bank, she joined Econometrix as an economist, primarily focusing on the analysis of the retail sector, but also working extensively on various research projects for clients.
After four years at Econometrix, she joined First National Corporate Bank as an Industry Analyst.
After a year, she rejoined Econometrix focusing on macro economic analysis, consumer market and printing industries and various consulting projects.
Ms. Fieldgate studied at the University of Johannesburg and obtained the following degrees: B.Comm Econometrics, B.Comm Hons (cum laude) and M.Comm Econometrics (cum laude).
