Mr. Hirofumi Okuyama is Senior Vice President of NEC Corporation and President and CEO of NEC USA, Inc. In this capacity, Mr. Okuyama is responsible for the executive management of NEC USA, its subsidiaries and divisions.
Additionally, he has executive oversight responsibilities for NEC operations in North America, Latin America and Europe.
Mr. Okuyama joined NEC Corporation, a global high technology leader based in Tokyo, Japan, in 1967.
He served as Manager, Director and finally Vice President of Corporate Planning for NEC America, in Melville, New York, from 1983 to 1992.
He returned to Japan in 1992 to serve as General Manager of NEC Corporation's International Planning Division.
In 1998, Mr. Okuyama was named Vice President of NEC Corporation's North America Group, and promoted in 2000 to Associate Senior Vice President of the organization.
In 2001, he was appointed Associate Senior Vice President for NEC Corporation's Networks Group.
In 2003, Mr. Okuyama returned to the United States as President and CEO of NEC USA
