Mr. Richard G.
Davies is a Chief Investment Officer of Fundamental Active Equities at BNP Paribas Asset Management UK Ltd. His responsibilities include global and regional equities – both in developed and emerging markets, with teams located in Asia, Europe and the US.
He has oversight responsibility for all activities relating to the management and performance of the organization’s equity investment teams, strategies and portfolios.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Davies was a Founding Partner and co-Chief Executive at MM Asset Management, which was acquired by IMS, which in turn was acquired by FundQuest, BNP Paribas Asset Management’ multi-management arm, where he was the Head of Research.
He began his career as an Investment Consultant at Mercer Investment Consulting.
He has over 22 years of investment experience.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Economic History from Bristol University in the UK.
