Mr. Courtadon joined GSC Partners in 2006 as a Managing Director in the Corporate Credit/Derivative Products group.
He was previously Managing Director and Head of Product Development for WestLB in New York.
Mr. Courtadon has over 20 years of experience in the valuation, trading and risk management of derivative products.
From 1998 to 2003 he held positions in equity derivatives research and firm risk management at Morgan Stanley and in risk control at CDC IXIS North America.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Courtadon worked for Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in trading positions from 1994 to 1998.
He was first Managing Director and Head of U.S.
Equity Arbitrage in New York and then a Corporate Vice President in charge of options hedging in Corporate Treasury in Toronto.
Mr. Courtadon has also built and managed derivative products research groups at Bankers Trust, First Chicago and Citibank.
He started his professional career as an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Stern School of Business at New York University, and still teaches there as an Adjunct Professor of Finance.
Mr. Courtadon graduated from ESSEC (Ecole Superieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) in Cergy, France and from Northwestern University with a Ph.D.
in Finance.
