George Archer

George joined 3i in 2011 and is a Partner in its Banking Team.
He has 28 years of banking experience and has worked on financing transactions for many of 3i’s current and former portfolio companies, including Action, Arrivia, Aspen Pumps, Audley Travel, Basic Fit, BoConcept, Cirtec Medical, Dutch Bakery, Dynatect, Element, Eltel, ESG, Hans Anders, Kinolt, Lekolar, MAIT, Magnitude, Mepal, MKM, OneMed, Q Holding, Royal Sanders, Sanisure, SLR, Wilson HCG and Yanga.
Prior to 3i, George worked at The Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of America and Barclays Capital, specialising in leveraged finance and sponsor coverage.
He has also held positions in leveraged loan syndications and in corporate restructuring.
George holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College (University of London), a BSc (Hons) degree in Financial Services from UMIST and a MSc degree in Operational Research from Strathclyde University.
