Eugene Rackley

The Trust for Public Land is a national nonprofit organization that creates parks and protects land for people, ensuring healthy, livable communities for generations to come. The non-profit company is based in San Francisco, CA and has subsidiaries in the United States. The company works with communities to create parks and protect public land where they are needed most, including sites that reconnect indigenous and tribal communities to their ancestral lands and outdoor spaces that honor black history and culture. Since 1972, they have protected more than 4 million acres of public land, created more than 5,364 parks, trails, schoolyards, and iconic outdoor places, raised $93 billion in public funding for parks and public lands, and connected nearly 9.4 million people to the outdoors. Diane Regas has been the CEO of the company since 2018.
