Elsa Hu

Elsa is a Managing Director at Raine.
Based in Hong Kong, Elsa works closely with Raine’s team in China to further strengthen the firm’s business in Greater China and the Asia region.
Before joining Raine, Elsa was Head of Asia for technology advisory firm GP Bullhound, where she spearheaded the firm’s China and Asia outreach.
Before GP Bullhound, Elsa worked at China Renaissance as the cross-border lead on the M&A team.
During her career, Elsa has built an expertise in digital entertainment, especially gaming, by working with sector leaders including Animoca Brands, Kabam, Perfect World, iDreamSky, and others.
Before specializing in technology, Elsa worked on M&A and capital markets transactions at HSBC in Hong Kong and Shanghai, Lazard in Beijing, and Goldman Sachs in New York.
Elsa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Economics from Mount Holyoke College (magna cum laude).
