David Owen joined Lansdowne Capital as Vice President in 2005 from Commerzbank Securities, where he worked within the UK corporate finance team and was involved in Commerzbank’s capital increase.
David also worked for ABN AMRO in the Corporate Finance consumer team from 1999 to 2002, where he advised blue-chip consumer industries companies such as Sara Lee, Heineken and Reckitt Benckiser.
He also advised several private equity houses on acquisitions in the consumer sector, such as the take-private of Ontex by Candover and the acquisition of Accantia by ABN AMRO Capital.
Prior to working for ABN AMRO, David was a member of Salomon Smith Barney’s Industrials corporate finance team focusing on the aviation sector.
David has a degree in modern languages from Oxford University.
