Prior to his affiliation with Alloy in 1996, Dr. Pidwell founded Rasna Corporation, a mechanical design automation software company financed by the partners at Alloy.
He was President and CEO until 1995 when Parametric Technology acquired the firm.
Prior to Rasna, Dr. Pidwell was employed by ROLM Corporation for 14 years.
Dr. Pidwell received a BS in electrical engineering and a MS in computer systems engineering from Ohio University and completed 3 years of work at Stanford University on a PhD in engineering economic systems.
