Christian Hinsch

Christian Hinsch is currently serving as the Chairman of the Management Board at Gerling-Konzern Allgemeine Versicherungs AG and as the Chairman of HDI International Holding AG.
He is also serving as the Chairman of the Management Board at HDI-Gerling Sach Serviceholding AG, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at EXTREMUS Versicherungs AG, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at HDI Reinsurance (Ireland) SE, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at HDI Systeme AG, and Member of the Supervisory Board at HDI AG.
Additionally, he is serving as a Member of the Supervisory Board at HDI Global Specialty SE.
In the past, he served as the Vice Chairman of the Management Board at HDI Versicherung AG, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at Talanx AG, Vice Chairman of the Management Board at HDI Haftpflichtverband der Deutschen Industrie VVaG, and Chairman of the Management Board at HDI Global SE.
He also served as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Talanx Reinsurance Broker GmbH and as the Director of the Supervisory Board at RAG Deutsche Steinkohle AG.
He completed his graduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1980 and his doctorate degree from the University of Bielefeld in 1982.
Currently, he is serving as a Director at PVI Holdings since 2019.
